Pneuma International Ministries, Inc. has partnered with Rivers of Living
Waters Arts, a branch of Rivers of Living Waters Ministries, to produce
Christian theater.
Evangelism through the Arts
Rivers of Living Waters Arts it is a multi-faceted entity whose mission is to
spread the Gospel message of love, peace and redemption through the
arts. It is a venue by which anointed Christian artist may use their gifts of
dance, drama, music and writing for evangelistic purposes.
Rivers of Living Waters Arts began in 1998 with a collaboration between
Rev. B Williams Waters and Rev. Veda Jackson Womack. Rev. Womack,
looking for a play to direct in an upcoming dinner theater, contacted Rev.
Waters who was looking for an outlet for her plays. They pooled their gifts
and the seed which germinated into Rivers of Living Waters Arts was
planted.
Both B Williams Waters and Veda Jackson Womack are anointed, creative
women of God whose gifts complement each other. Veda Jackson
Womack, serving as consultant, brings a vast body of theatrical work (on
and off Broadway), classical training in dance and professional experience
as a dancer, choreographer and director. B Williams Waters, as
writer/songwriter/composer, brings a keen observation of the human
condition, an ear for the music of language, a gift for dialogue,and a
God-given talent for songwriting.
Since the first collaboration - a dinner theater production of the play, "The
New Member" - there have been several other Rivers of Living Waters Arts
Productions by this team of B Williams Waters and Veda Jackson
Womack. They include productions of the plays, "Jarena Lee: Called to
Preach," "Beyond the Walls," "Not in My Church!" and the musical play,
"Just Call HIm!" (which was produced in cooperation with Joy Tabernacle
African Methodist Church, Dallas, Texas.") Each of these plays were
written by B Williams Waters.
